Droaam: Graywall and Long Shadows
The Dark Six
Followers of the Dark Six see their pantheon as composed of figures just as vital to Eberron as the nine figures of the Sovereign Host. Even some of the Vassals of the Host willingly acknowledge the role of the Dark Six and give them their due, if nothing else to seek protection from suffering. Most though see any outright devotion to the Six entities equal to dedicating one’s life to darkness, primitive savagery, or outright insanity. Followers, who also tend to call themselves Vassels, often have found a personal attachment to the raw wild power presented by one member of the Six. Others simply recognize the Six as equals to the Host, but more relevant or influential in their own lives. This can be particularly true for those who see the role of mortals in the word as that of fearful servants, with individual members being able to achieve power and paradise if willing to devote themselves obediently to an individual divine figure. The Dark Six is composed of The Devourer (nature’s wrath and famine), The Fury (passion and vengeance), The Keeper (necromancy and greed/gluttony), The Mockery (violence/carnage and betrayal or dishonorable victory), The Shadow (ambition/corruption and dark magic), and The Traveler (deception/cunning and change). While open devotion to the Dark Six is rare across much of the continent, areas within gobliniod nation of Darguum have full temples dedicated to the Six while shires to individual members exist in secrete or as part of primitive cultures all over Eberron.
